CREDIT CARD FRAUD SUSPECTS

Harford County Sheriff's Office is seeking to identify subjects caught on security cameras at various stores in the Bel Air and Jacksonville areas involved in credit card fraud. Subjects were seen driving a four door gold 03- 05 Honda accord LX with a sunroof. The vehicle displays Maryland tags and is always driven by the female.

250 Gallons of Gasoline Stolen

(Abingdon, MD - May 13, 2008) Harford County Sheriff’s deputies are seeking information regarding the person or persons responsible for stealing 250 gallons of gasoline from Boyle Buick, 3015 Emmorton Road, Abingdon, MD.

Sometime between the hours of 5:00 pm Saturday, May 3rd and 8:00 am Monday May 5th, unknown suspects damaged the padlock giving them access to the handle and pump of a storage tank. Approximately 250 gallons of gasoline were stolen and carried away in an unknown container.

A second attempt to steal gasoline was discovered Monday May 12, 2008 however, the suspects were unsuccessful.

SUSPECT SOUGHT IN KIDNAPPING AND ROBBERY

Sheriff’s Deputies are seeking information that will lead to the apprehension of Brandon Evans Hart, 22 years of age, who is wanted in reference to a kidnapping/robbery that occurred on 04/28/2008 in the 1700 block of Fountainrock Way in Edgewood, Harford County, Maryland. He should be considered armed and dangerous.

Riverside Sunoco Robbed

Criminal investigators with the Harford County Sheriff’s Office are investigating an armed robbery which occurred shortly after midnight on Sunday, March 11, 2007 at the Riverside Sunoco located in the 1300 block of Riverside Parkway.

Investigators are searching for a black male of medium complexion , approximately 5’-6” tall, weighing 150 lbs., who at the time of the robbery was wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt, black pants, camouflage hat and a black face mask.

The suspect entered the Sunoco store pushing a customer out of the way and pointed a handgun at the clerk demanding the cash register be opened. The clerk complied and opened up the register, but was still struck in the head with suspect’s gun. The suspect then removed the cash from the register and fled from the scene on foot.

Of particular interest to investigators is the unidentified customer who left the store prior to Sheriff’s Deputies arrival. Security video images show both the suspect and the unidentified customer.

New York Deli Burglary Suspects Sought
(Security Video Captured Possible Suspect)

The Harford County Sheriff’s Office needs your assistance in identifying the individual captured on security video prior to the commercial burglary of the New York Deli located in the 3700 block of Pulaski Highway in Abingdon. The burglary occurred in the early morning hours of mid February. The deli suffered extensive damage as a result of the suspect(s) gaining entry into the business.

Provident Bank Robbed
(Constant Friendship Wal-Mart Branch)

Criminal investigators with the Harford County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a bank robbery which occurred on the evening of Wednesday, January 31, 2007 at the Provident Bank located inside the Constant Friendship Wal-Mart.

Investigators are searching for a mid-thirties black male, with a goatee, approximately 6’-2”, having a slim build, who at the time of the robbery was wearing a gray fleece jacket, gray sweat shirt, white t-shirt, baggy black or blue jeans, brown shoes and a brown knit hat rolled up with a tan stripe or inside.

The suspect entered the bank’s teller line and demanded money when he reached the teller’s counter implying that he had a gun in the pocket of his jacket. Investigators believe the lone suspect fled in a champagne Nissan Maxima with an undisclosed amount of money.

Numerous patrons and employees were in the bank and Wal-Mart at the time of the crime; however, none were injured.

Suspect Sought for New Years Day Homicide

Shortly after 11:00 p.m. on January 1, 2007 Harford County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to a shooting in the 400 block of Meadowood Drive, where an unidentified caller reported a man had been shot.

Upon arrival at the scene deputies found the victim, identified as Walter Antonio Overton, 21 of Middle River located lying in a flower bed. The victim was found just outside a residence in the 400 block of Meadowood Drive. Overton was observed to be unconscious with several gunshot wounds to his upper torso.

The victim was treated at the scene by emergency medical personnel from the Joppa – Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company and transported by ambulance to Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air where he was pronounced dead.

There are currently no suspects in the homicide. Investigators with the Harford County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Division are conducting the investigation. Composite Obtained of Suspect Who Attempted to Entice Student into Vehicle

(Bel Air, MD – January 4, 2006) - - Harford County Sheriff’s Deputies have obtained a composite drawing of the suspect who attempted to entice an Edgewood High School student into his vehicle in early December .

The 16-year old female was walking to school on Perry Avenue when an unknown male pulled up beside her asking if she needed a ride. The student refused the ride and the man attempted to block her in with his vehicle however; she was able to get a way and ran to school. Upon arrival at school the student reported the incident to the Harford County Sheriff’s School Policing Officer assigned to Edgewood High School.

A search of the neighborhood was conducted by sheriff’s deputies, however efforts to locate the suspect where to no avail.

The student described the suspect as a white male, between the ages of 25 – 30, medium build having, a thin finely trimmed beard along the jaw line. At the time of the incident the man was wearing a gray hooded jacket, black shirt and black skull cap. He was operating a four-door compact sedan with gray interior and dice hanging from the rear view mirror.

Mare Found Dead by Owners
(Horse sustained single gunshot to abdomen)

Harford County Sheriff’s Deputies are investigating the death of a 10 year old mare found by the owners on December 27, 2006.

The mare named “Joline” was found shortly before 7 p.m. in a pasture behind the family home in the 3000 block of Sandy Hook Road in Street. Investigation revealed that the mare sustained a single gun shot wound to the left abdomen. At this point it is unknown if the gunshot was intentional or the result of a hunting mishap.

Upon the owners discretion the horse will be transported to a veterinarian hospital in Oxford Pennsylvania for a necropsy.

Thieves Roll Off With Custom Chassis and Motor

Harford County Sheriff’s detectives are seeking information that will help them identify the persons responsible for the theft of custom chassis and motor. The theft occurred in early November, 2006 when the below pictured chassis and motor were removed from a garage in the 3300 bock of Level Road in Level, MD. The red primed 1941 Willy’s pro-street rolling chassis contained a Chevrolet 454 motor, 2 – chrome four barrel carburetors with a Big Al’s blower motor, 9” ford rear with coil over and four link, Wildwood brakes, and 29 ½” x 18 ½” Hoosier radials with torque-thruster rims.

Knife Wielding Masked Man Robs Convenience Store

Harford County Sheriffs Deputies are looking for a suspect involved in the armed robbery of the High’s Store located at Bush’s Corner in Pylesville. The incident occurred during the early morning hours on Sunday, November 26, 2006. The suspect, described as a white male approximately 6’ – 6’2” tall with a heavy build, forced an employee at knife point into a rear office and then stole an undisclosed sum of currency. The employee was then assaulted by her assailant before he fled through the rear door from the store.

On July 4, 2006 an Edgewood man was struck by a stray bullet while sitting at his dining room table eating dinner at approximately 6:00 p.m. The 32 year old victim, of the 800 block of Windstream Way in the Sunrise development of Edgewood, sustained a single bullet wound to his lower right leg.

An investigation by the Harford County Sheriff’s Office determined the victim was not the intended target, but rather incidental to a gun battle between two young black males in the street near his home. Neither of the suspects involved in the street fight were apparently injured. More than a dozen rounds were fired during the altercation.

The round, which struck the victim, passed through the exterior wall of a two-story wood frame multi-family dwelling, passed through the victim’s right shin and entered a wall behind him in the dining room. No other family members were injured.

The Harford County Sheriff's Office needs your help in identifying the suspect(s) responsible for an Edgewood residential burglary. The home located in the 2200 block of Perry Avenue was broken into during the third week of April, 2006. The primary items stolen from the residence were jewelry consisting of rings, earrings, necklaces and an antique pocket watch. Sheriff’s Deputies are seeking information from anyone who might have observed anything unusual on Perry Avenue in late April or who may have information regarding suspects or the possible location of the stolen jewelry.

The Harford County Sheriff's Office needs your help in identifying the suspect(s) responsible for the thefts of money from a Coca-Cola delivery truck while parked at Fallston High School on December 22, 2005 and January 13, 2006. In both incidents money was removed from the cab of the truck while the deliveryman was attending to vending machines inside the school. Sheriff’s Deputies are seeking information from anyone who might have observed anything unusual at the school on the above days to include persons noticed in or around the Coca-Cola truck or any unusual vehicles seen on school property. On New Year’s Day, Sunday, January 1, 2006 at approximately 6:30 p.m. an armed subject entered the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, located at 1643 Churchville Rd. Bel Air, Harford County, MD 21015, and demanded valuables from members of the church who had gathered for an evening worship service. The subject is described as approximately 5’10” to 6’ tall, wearing a dark puffy coat, dark clothing, gloves and a ski mask. Please be on the lookout for personal items belonging to the victims, which may have been dropped or discarded by the subject. The Bel Air Police Officers are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the individuals responsible for the theft of the department’s Speedsentry signboard that will lead to its return. The Speedsentry was last seen on September 23, 2005 at 1:00 PM attached to a wooden signpost on eastbound Route 22 near Ewing Street. The suspects then stole two children-size small frame dirt bikes, described as a green 1999 Kawasaki and a green 2001 Kawasaki along with a 26" Mongoose bicycle.
